How to Clean a Tie
There’s a place for a tie in our wardrobes for more than 350 years. What if you accidentally stain our tie? Try our advices:
For smaller stains you can use special cleaning products.
On a very soft cloth put a little bit of soap and try to clean gently.
You should not iron your tie. In case your tie is crumpled it is possible to use hot steam from the steam iron. Do not iron tie directly, but always through another piece of clean cotton cloth.
If the tie is silky rather give it to Dry Cleaners they’ll know what to do.
If it is polyester use delicate program.
Before you go to Dry Cleaners try it by yourself. But if you are not sure and you are afraid of ruining your tie then it is better to leave it to professionals.
